Marco Gasparri
Founder of Alchimia Studio
After a master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Milan, I spent over ten years working with software houses and US tech companies. At first on operations research and optimization algorithms (particularly for logistics, classification, and scheduling problems). Then on the design and development of software solutions and architectures for complex, scalable, distributed systems. And in the last few years, my focus has shifted to artificial intelligence: first machine learning systems, now generative models, from workflow creation and automation to integrating AI into software solutions.
Through this experience, one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that a technology only matters when it accommodates and supports the constraints, the reality, and the people who have to use it. This is even more true today with the rise of artificial intelligence, where the concept of human-in-the-loop is more central than ever.
So in 2026 I founded Alchimia Studio, to bring my experience and the approach long used in leading tech companies to the area where I live, opening collaboration with local businesses, schools, and public bodies. The goal is simple: make AI a concrete, useful, and accessible tool, without unnecessary complexity, keeping the people who have to use it at the center.
I work mostly in person across the Alto Milanese area (Legnano, Cerro Maggiore, Rescaldina, Busto Arsizio, Saronno, Gallarate, Parabiago) and in Milan. Hybrid or fully remote on request.
How I work
If it isn't needed, AI stays out
Not every problem requires models or intelligent systems. Sometimes all it takes is putting a process back in order; other times it means building proper, scalable automations. The first step is understanding if and how AI can actually create an advantage.
Constraints come before technology
Timing, available data, tools already in use, people involved: that's where the work starts. Everything else comes after.
Technical work has to be translated
Whoever commissions a project needs a solution that is technically solid, but also functional and accessible. So the work starts with analyzing the requirements, takes shape through design and technical implementation, and ends with specific training for the people who will use it.
